From my beginnings in the Caribbean to my current career in the United States, I’ve made it my mission to leave every person and place better than when found. From opening my first charity at the age of 17 to co-founding a Trinidad-based Premier Accountancy Specialist School all the way to composing piano arrangements for nearby listeners — discovering new ways to provide maximum impact and joy was and is my passion.
Leadership and teaching always came naturally to me. The more I learned as a U.S. and Caribbean-based accountant and auditor, the more I desired to ground my mastery by imparting knowledge. I thought — who could benefit from this knowledge? By presenting and lecturing around the world (see topics on my speaking page), I had gained the attention of leading firms (PwC and Citibank to name a few). Working with these firms quickly landed me the reputation for improving the performance of organizational teams.
Was I operating within the career progression as people know it? Not in the slightest.
I was still in my early 20s. What made it so was my hunger to learn, to see the universe as abundant, and to be bold in the face of no agreement. It’s how my perspective on Quantum Leadership™ was born fifteen years later. This approach also empowered me to go beyond the books as an accountant and auditor and help companies onboard and adapt to blockchain solutions for their supply chain (while also providing courses for fellow accountants and auditors to champion this space as well).
Today Miami is my home, but I fly to clients nearly every week, sharing my workability framework, consulting, and instilling playful leadership within organizations. I can’t wait for the next exciting challenge and look forward to making your world work.

Dev Ramnarine, a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK), is an internationally experienced business advisor, accountant and auditor with a proven track record of success within enterprise and entrepreneurial settings. His clients have included Sotheby’s, Encoded Therapeutics, Zume, Citibank, Calumet, Angostura, Petrotrin, GlaxoSmithKline, and Trax USA. Dev now serves as a founding Partner of Thrudheim Advisory Services. Previously, he served as a Partner at Miami-based SMP CPA By Choice where he oversaw audit and assurance.
He is an ACCA Advocate who partners with various ACCA networks around the world to deliver content that informs and educates ACCA members. Topics include technology and audit, business effectiveness, and (for students) preparing for and passing the ACCA examinations. As the chair of the ACCA’s Global Forum on Technology, he has presented to the Edinburg Group (and various regional chapters) on emerging technology and its impact on the accounting profession. He is also a member of The ACCA Global Forum for Governance, Risk, and Performance. As a passionate advocate for the ACCA, he also speaks in university classrooms to articulate the value of the ACCA and encourage students to become ACCA members.
Dev’s passion to inspire, empower and provide clarity to others led him to partner with other accountants early in his career, in creating the Trinidad-based Premier Accountancy Specialist School (PASS), an ACCA Approved Learning Partner. He is a presenter and lecturer (including ACCA courses) on governance, communication, and international accounting and assurance standards. He mentors students, affiliates, and ACCA members globally.
A speaker and coach on leadership and performance, Dev is currently documenting his coaching methodology, Quantum Leadership™, with the intent to publish his first book in the coming year.
Outside of the office, Dev is a self-taught pianist who plays and composes exclusively by ear. His compositions are intended to capture his life experiences in music for all to enjoy.
